Event Description - Concert and reception at the Musée d'Orsay, Paris
On the 28th October 2011, the King's College Choir will perform at the Musée d'Orsay in ParisThe concert, Beauty in Nature and Music, is a 60 minute sequence of a capella works performed in the Nave (central Hall) of the Musée. It starts at 8:30pm and is free to attend. The full programme is as follows:

We have been working with the staff at the Musée d'Orsay who have very kindly agreed to host a cocktail reception for members of King's and Cambridge University after the concert (c. 9:30pm)Drinks and canapés will be served. The cost to attend is €40 per person, which will help to cover the cost of holding the affair. If any profit is made, it will be directed to supporting Music, the Chapel and Choir of King's College Cambridge.
 
We would be delighted if you were able to attend either the concert, reception or both. Tickets are not required for the concert itself, but if you and your family would like to make the reception, please do let us know. Payment covering the reception tickets can be made by either pounds sterling (£) or in euros (€):
 
Euro payments should be made by cheque, made payable to the Cambridge Society of Paris, and posted to:

If you post a payment (either in euros or pounds sterling), please email events@kings.cam.ac.uk to let us know it is coming. We need to close registrations for the reception by no later that 12 noon on Tuesday, 25 October 2011 so if you would like to attend, please do register your interest before this time.
 
Priority entrance will be offered to members and friends who let us know they are coming to the concert, reception or both. For logisitical reasons only 2 priority entrance places can be allocated per member/friend registration.

Doors for this concert will open at 8pm; the concert will begin at 8:30pm.

This reception event is not suitable for babies and young children.
