In addition, the College seeks to further enhance education, religion, learning and research by seeking external funding to support activities that enrich and define College life, including music, performance, art, student clubs and societies and the Library and Archives.  Click here for an overview of King's programmes and activities.

Unrestricted Gifts
You are welcome to contribute to an area or programme that is of particular interest, or you may direct your gift to the General College Purposes Fund.  Gifts to this fund are distributed to meet the areas of greatest need at King’s, and allow the College the most flexibility in allocating income.

The Library and Archive Centre
The King's College Library has been in continuous existence since the foundation of the College in 1441. As well as preserving many rare book and manuscript treasures, the Library and Archive Centre serves the current needs of undergraduate, graduate and senior members of the College.

The library is open to members of the College and to visitors by appointment only. The library holds approximately 130,000 items. The books on open access are for teaching and reference use; there are also stored collections of rare books and manuscripts. Please note that the library is closed to visitors during a six week period before and during examinations in May/June each year. The Archive Centre is available for consultation by scholars by appointment.

For more information on directing your gift to other support, please contact the Development Office.  Alternatively, please see Ways to Make a Gift.
