Election of the Chancellor in October

The University hereby gives notice to members of the University Senate* that an election will take place to elect a Chancellor of the University of Cambridge. The election will take place in the Senate-House in Cambridge on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 October 2011 from 10am to 8pm on each day.  In accordance with the Statutes of the University, votes must be cast in person, and votes will be counted under the University’s regulations for the Single Transferable Vote

Only members of the Senate of the University are eligible to vote. The Senate comprises:

- graduates of the University who have take the Cambridge MA or any other Cambridge Masters Degree (for example the LLM, MPhil, MSci, MEng, MRes, or MBA), a Cambridge Doctorate, or the Cambridge BD Degree

- Current members of the Regent House regardsless of degrees held

Parking
Unfortunately we are unable to offer College parking on this occasion. We suggest you make use of the Park & Ride services and public car parks, the nearest being Grand Arcade and Park Street.
