The Telephone Fundraising Campaign is an annual opportunity for Members to hear about upcoming events and discuss their experiences of King’s, and hear from the callers what life at King's is like today. Between 16th and 28th March 2010, 15 King's students called almost 1000 Members! Our callers had a great time. They received career advice and work placement offers, and heard some fantastic anecdotes about life at King's from as far back as the 1930s (including one tale which featured ducks and gin-soaked bread...)! We were amazed by the enthusiasm and energy that the student callers showed, they did a fantastic job. We have been absolutely delighted by your response to this year's campaign. Our goal was to raise £175,000 to go towards the Supplementary Exhibition Fund, the Chapel and Choir, and the Library and Archives. To date, we have received over £215,000 - an amazing result, and the highest total of any Telephone Fundraising Campaign to date.
Thank you to everybody who has already made a donation as part of this years campaign - your support is invaluable to the College, and ensures that current and future students are able to enjoy the full King's experience that you enjoyed. If you haven't yet been a part of this year's campaign, there's still time to participate by clicking here.
