Alison Maitland is a writer, speaker and conference moderator who special ises in
leadership, women in business, corporate responsibility and the changing world
of work.
She is Director of The Conference Board’s European Council for Diversity
in Business and is a Senior Visiting Fellow in the Faculty of Management at Cass
Business School, London.
Alison is a King's member of 1973 and is coming to King's on 6th March to participate in the 2010 annual Women's Event, Women at Work. Her other recent engagements have included speaking at the International Monetary Fund in
Washington D.C. and the first Women’s Economic Summit in Lowell, Massachusetts,
and moderating at the European Gender Equality Conference in Brussels.
Alison regularly contributes articles and columns to the Financial Times, The
Conference Board Review and other media. She is co-author of the acclaimed book
Why Women Mean Business, now out in paperback
