The Festival in Bregenz attracts some 200,000 people each year to this small
town on the Austrian shore of Lake Constance.
Join the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Alison Richard (Newnham, 1966), Festival
Director, David Pountney (St John's, 1966) and European expert, Lord Alan Watson
(Jesus, 1960), for a day of talks on the operas and the Festival, behind the
scenes tour of the famous floating stage and a drinks reception.
Alumni and their guests will be able to enjoy the world stage premiere of The
Passenger and the spectacular production of Verdi’s Aida from some of the best
seats in the house.
Tickets cost £275 per person which includes the drinks reception, talks and
back stage tour, and top price tickets for both The Passenger and Aida. Please
note you will be responsible for arranging your own meals, transport
